Oppo Philippines 160th Store and the F5 Youth at the SM Megamall

Another milestone is being celebrated by Oppo last Saturday, 25 November, as it opened its doors to their 160th store in the country at the indomitable SM Megamall Cyberzone.

Together with the inaugural, Oppo Philippines launched the Oppo F5 Youth – a much more affordable member of the F5 lineup of Selfie Experts that can be yours for just Php 13,990.

The Oppo F5 Youth at first glance bears uncanny resemblance to its F5 counterpart, it might be the case that the only difference between the two is in the internal configurations with the Youth bearing lower specced optics with 16MP in front and 13MP at the rear as opposed to the F5’s 20MP/16MP configuration, as well as 3GB of RAM just slightly under the 4GB of the F5. There really is almost no telling the two apart – one of the main identifiers would be the antenna band present only in the F5.

Positioning the F5 Youth under 15k allows fully budget conscious consumers into the Oppo F5 fold with considerable ease even more than what the F5 had been offering initially. It maintains all the technologies of the F5 without being that financially challenging. The F5 Youth package comes complete with pre-installed screen protection, a perfectly fitted hard case, earphones, power brick and cable (microUSB), and its very own sim ejector tool.

For the next couple of weeks, we’re going to put the Oppo F5 Youth through its paces so stay tuned to learn more about this much more affordable version of the F5.
