There are a lot of boxes in the photo above but the important thing to focus on is the ones at the center… yup those are 8GB SODIMM modules, for the uninitiated those go into laptops.
For the longest time 8GB was the limit for mobile computing using two 4GB modules but with the introduction of these, it has been doubled up. I did a twofer yesterday and went to Greenhills from Quiapo and saw these on display. The running cost is 3195Php per module which leads to a 6400Php RAM upgrade for the full effect… you might just want to add that SSD on the photo in as well although I didnt ask for the price of that one. What you need to verify before even considering taking these two home is that your unit is able to see and handle these babies. Compatibility should be seen in the specifications of your processor which if it could handle a 64-bit environment, is a good indicatior of the possibility.
