Dec 4 2019 – Lazada, at a gathering of advocates for all manner of charities aptly dubbed Lunch of Hope, launched the country’s first ever, Digital Giving Platform in the form of “donations” category within their app. It really is quite literally, the easiest way of donating to a specific cause.
Within the app and without any hurdles between your money and the charity, it really is a brand new and very present method of providing help to charities… and not to worry, the acknowledgement still comes in the form of certificates indicative of your chosen denomination. If anything, the only limitation to this is that there are denominations… freely setting up an amount of course may prove tricky so they made the process easier for everybody.
At present Lazada is partnered with 11 advocacies under the #LazadaForGood banner namely and in no particular order:
CCEF (Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation Inc.)
Habitat for Humanity
HERO (Help Educate and Rear Orphans) Foundation
MovEd (Molding Optimism and Values through Education
Tahanan ng Paagmamahal
UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) Philippines
The awareness campaign launches alongside their Grand Year End Sale that spans Dec 12-14 which has the following “must-buy” items in tow. Click on the image for the full graphic.
Lazada promotes giving back this time instead of receiving something which is a fantastic ideal to be instilled throughout the season and moving forward. Cheers to the fantastic work from our friends at Lazada!
