Wacom has been teasing everyone about it for months on end and now that they have released information about it finally it does seem to live up to the expectation that they created with the hype.
Today they released three new products: two tablets (Windows and Android) and a special stylus for the iPad. They really are covering all bases with these offerings.
The Cintiq Companion is the one running Windows which would natively run the programs which the user would be sketching on (IE Sketchbook / Photoshop CC) of the set it is definitely the stand alone with no need for external inputs to make full use of the capacity of the stylus.
The Cintiq Companion Hybrid is the one I’m most interested in because it is an Android tablet on its own but once you pair it with a computer it functions as how the older Cintiqs do. Here is a list of what is included in the package for the Hybrid:

It is has a full HD resolution at 13.3” and a stand with three adjustable tilt stops (22, 35 and 50 degrees). It is available already for pre order at 1,599USD which is a very good price as compared to their earlier models especially since this one works as an (Jelly Bean 4.2) Android tablet as well. There are two models 16 and 32GB and they utilize Tegra4 technology by Nvidia.
The Intuos Creative Stylus runs on batteries and is pressure sensitive while running on compatible apps. It pairs to the iPad via bluetooth 4 and works for the iPad3, the Mini, and everything forward. This is being sold for 99.95USD.
Calling these products ‘creative’ is truly fitting and would be indispensable for most all levels of professional utility. I cant wait to find one in local stores, let us all hope that they ship it soon so that I can get a chance to get one for myself.
