Ainol Novo 7 Flame carried by Villman

This news hit my timeline sometime earlier this week. Villman is known for carrying plenty of established brands but this is the very first “China” tablet that they’re offering… might be that they’ve recognized Ainol’s potential.

While the Flame is not really Ainol’s flagship, the specifications are very balanced and makes it a very good 7” tablet in the league of the Tab 2 and the earlier offering of Acer the Iconia A100 priced around 3,000Php less.

What makes this particular Novo tablet unique is it is one of the first to actually come shipped with the Google Play Store out of the box; I can imagine how hard it would be to sell a tablet to laymen who wouldnt have the know-how to flash an applicatioin package just so the Android device can get access to the Play Store. It also has a rear camera, something that was not included in earlier Novo 7 configurations.

Here’s a quick spec rundown: 1280x800px 7” IPS display, 5-point multitouch, dual core 1.5GHz AMLogic CPU, Mali400 GPU, 16GB internal, 1GB RAM, SD card slot, G-Sensor, WiFi, 2MP front facing, 5MP rear, LED flash

The folks at Villman are selling it for a tag just a peso shy of 10,000Php but while this isn’t all that bad, you could get this for a little lesser through some other channel. Let us hope Villman is able to sell this and carry more of the products from Ainol in the future.
